Dr Alexander Lui brings a calm, considerate approach to dentistry—the kind that turns a nerve-wracking visit into a genuinely comfortable one. With nearly eight years of experience in the field, he combines a gentle chairside manner with a strong focus on clear communication, helping patients feel informed and at ease from the moment they arrive. Alexander is thrilled to be joining the team at Willow Dental Care.

Alexander completed his dental degree at Griffith University on the Gold Coast, followed by a postgraduate diploma in aesthetics and restorative dentistry from the University of Portsmouth. He has also pursued implant training both across Australia and internationally, keeping his skills current and his care well-rounded. His advanced training means he can offer patients a wide scope of treatment, from everyday preventive care to more complex aesthetic and restorative work.

What drives Alexander most is seeing patients walk out with more confidence than they had when they walked in. He believes dentistry is about far more than teeth. It's about helping people smile freely and function comfortably in their daily lives. He also values the relationships that develop over time with the people he treats, and he takes pride in being a supportive, approachable presence for his colleagues. He was drawn to dentistry by a love of working with his hands and a natural inclination for problem-solving, and he finds great satisfaction in how those skills translate into meaningful improvements in patients' health and well-being.

Outside the practice, Alexander enjoys fishing, hiking, and exploring new cafés whenever he gets the chance. He's an avid traveller and loves capturing his adventures with a drone. At home, he shares his space with four corgis—yes, four—which tells you just about everything you need to know about him.
